The simple answer to this question is, “It depends.” Investigations can vary from as short as days or weeks while more complicated/larger cases can take many months. There are many variables that will determine the length of an investigation, including the number of contacts that must be made, the volume of documents and data to process, surveillance needs, historical factors as well as other considerations. It is our commitment to conduct investigations as quickly as possible while delivering high quality results.
The client suggests the scope of work initially. Pii analyses the suggestions in light of a Preliminary Review and therein what is actually necessary to acquire, define, and succinctly state the truth of the matter. If Pii, upon that determination, decides to contract for the work; then status updates only will be provided to the client as the investigation proceeds. The final report is then produced.
